1) Registering with Genuine Credentials
- Use a proper Developer name: Do register using your name or the name of your company on Mobango. Ideally this name users should be able to also identify through Google search or social media. Using Alias names, reduces the credibility of the app that you are uploading significantly and ranks lower in our app ranking algorithms. This Developer name helps us to connect with you and appreciate your success. This also helps users to find their favorite developer’s apps.
- Use an active email Id to connect with you: Your email an important medium of communication between you and Mobango. You get the latest updates, announcements, newsletters from us. Your Email Id helps us to reach out to you with the performance of your apps to enhance your presence on our store and increase your downloads in return.

2) Uploading Original Content which belongs to you
- Upload apps which are developed by you: Upload original apps which are developed by you. We do not encourage developers who upload third party content unless you are a recognised aggregator or media company and you have spoken with us about the status of copyright ownership. Where we are unclear about the ownership rights, we may choose not to publish that content or even if we choose to publish it, will rank very low in our Apprank which makes the chances of featuring your content negligible. In extreme cases, we may remove the developer account in entirety and not allow such developers to upload in the future through a blacklist process. Most importantly, users don’t want content they do not trust and that impacts our core customer proposition and experience
- Upload apps for which you have distribution rights: Upload apps which you have distribution rights for. Make sure you keep the required documentation handy and share with us whenever we request to do so. This helps us to understand your credibility and take appropriate action on the duplicates.
- Do not upload the app variants on Mobango: Do not upload apps which are already uploaded on Mobango with slightly different meta data with the hope of getting more downloads. Such variants uploads spoils the user experience and in our experience, the developer in the long term does not really win in terms of user acquisition. We do not encourage such practices and such apps tend to get rejected before even getting published.

3) Usage of proper Metadata to describe the App and its USP
- Use grammatically correct English: Make sure the Title, Description and Keywords used for your app are written in grammatically correct English with no spelling errors. Such mistakes can turn users away from your content as they associate content with poor meta data as reflection on poor quality of content. This directly resulting in less downloads. We prefer English as a language and not other languages given the global user base of Mobango.
- Highlight the USP of your app: The USP (unique selling, preposition) of your app should be directly communicated with the user. Try and communicate the USP in the first 250 characters – what the app does for the user. The description of the app should be appealing and should highlight the best features of your app, make sure it is crisp and perfect which will excite users and make them download your apps. Make sure your app description says a lot in the limited words. Let the descriptions be true to the features that your app has. In our experience, exaggerations or flowery language does not get new users for your app.
4) Thumbnails and Screenshots to be attractive and appealing
- Use crisp and clear thumbnails, this is the first impression of your apps: Thumbnail and Screenshots are your app’s first impression for the user before he installs your app. Make sure you choose the best screenshots to show minimum three different aspects of your app. We welcome as many screen shots as you could create. Also use Android standard sizes for these image assets. Blurred images or unclear images on apps could significantly delay the publishing or even prevent the app from getting published.
